The Norwegian company Sartor & Drange is located in Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city. It is the largest construction contractor headquartered in Vestland County.

The majority of its operations are located in the Bergen region, but the company also has assignments in western Norway. The company was founded in its current form in 2021 with the merger of the companies Sartor Maskin and Drange Maskin, which had built strong positions in the region since their establishments in 1990 and 1986, respectively.

Sartor Drange’s largest business is the main or turnkey contractor on contracts for land and infrastructure, but has a wide range of services and also takes on assignments as a subcontractor. They perform services in water/sewage, blasting, rock protection, asphalt milling, crushing, foundations, concrete work and transport, among other things.

In total, the company has approximately 210 employees and a turnover of approximately NOK 1 billion.

As proof of its work with continuous improvement, the company is certified according to ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). The company is also centrally approved by DiBK (The Norwegian Building Authority), which is responsible for both searching, design and execution of relevant work.
