Eleda intensifies its investment in the railway sector and acquires three companies
Sweden's leading infrastructure group, Eleda, acquires Hanell Entreprenad AB and Flexirail AB, both of which have extensive experience in the maintenance of railways. Eleda is also strengthening its leading position in civil engineering in Stockholm by acquiring Marbit AB.
As an entrepreneur in community-supporting infrastructure, Eleda is at the centre of the climate transition.

Quay 16 – innovative construction project in Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg
On behalf of Vasakronan, the Eleda company Mark & Energibyggarna is carrying out ground and foundation work in the Quay 16 project. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, the foundation is now laid for a modern property with a high environmental profile.
The Eleda Board of Directors appoints Ellinor Thiel President and CEO, effective January 1, 2025. At the same time, former CEO Johan Halvardsson will become Eleda Chairman of the Board.
Eleda has signed the Swedish Construction Federation’s roadmap for fossil-free competitiveness
Together with over 100 companies and industry participants, Eleda has signed the construction sector's roadmap for fossil-free competitiveness. In doing so, we adopt the goal of halving our climate emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions by 2045.
The infrastructure group Eleda acquires Sartor & Drange AS, a market-leading civil engineering contractor in the Bergen region. Sartor & Drange offers services in areas such as road, water and sewerage and foundation work in western Norway. Sartor & Drange has approximately 200 employees and a turnover of approximately NOK 1,100 million.
