What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file, which is saved on your computer when you visit a website. This file stores information that can be read by the web page if you visit it again later. Some cookies are necessary for the page to work properly. Other cookies simplify things for the visitor: They remember your login information or the language you have chosen, for example. Cookies mean that you do not have to fill in the same information again. Cookies are also used for marketing purposes as they enable the website to identify you as a returning visitor and can then give you a more personal experience.
Some cookies that Eleda uses are necessary for the website to function correctly and to enable you to move on the website and use its functions. You do not have to approve our use of necessary cookies as they are required for us to be able to provide the website.
What type of cookies do we use?
There are three types of cookies on the website:
Cookies that are temporarily stored in the browser’s memory while you visit the website. They can e.g. be used to identify the language you have selected. Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed.
Cookies that are stored on your device for a long time. They are used e.g. for features that tell you what’s new since you as a user last visited the site. How long the cookie stays on your device depends on the lifetime of the specific cookie and your browser settings.
Third Party Cookies
Cookies that belong to domains other than those displayed in the address bar. Third-party cookies make it possible to track the user’s web history.
How can I deactivate cookies?
