B2B Groundwork Solutions

The accelerating pace of digitalisation is impacting various aspects of infrastructure development. One notable effect is the increasing presence of FAANG companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google) constructing more global data centres in the Nordic region. These data centres enable these companies to expand their operations in Europe by meeting the growing demand for secure data storage and reliable data transmission.

There is also significant growth in logistics centres driven by the rise of e-commerce as well as sectors such as retail, electronics and media. This growth is fuelled by the need for efficient distribution networks to support online shopping and product delivery.

Fibre-optic cables and networks are another area experiencing substantial growth. This includes connecting households, workplaces and other facilities with high-speed internet access. It also involves laying new cables alongside railways and undertaking network maintenance projects of various sizes.

Among Eleda’s companies, Akeab, Salboheds and Mark & Energibyggarna all have operations in this sector.
